Uterine fibroids are abnormal non cancerous growths (tumours) that are found in the uterus of reproductive-age women. They can be of different sizes and can grow at different locations within the uterus.

The cause is unknown but there are however several factors that can put you at risk of having fibroid, one of which is being BLACK or AFRICAN- AMERICAN!
