WHAT IS SELF-HARM?
Finally, the last Friday of the month 💃🏽
Feels like it was yesterday that we welcomed ourselves into the month of August and tomorrow, we will be bidding this month goodbye.
My dear friend, on a scale of 1 to 10, rate how well you enjoyed this month.
Mine wasn’t so bad , so I’ll give it a 6.5. Above all, I am glad you and I made it to the end.
How are you My dear friend?
The weekend is upon us again and it will be a crime to stay indoors like you did last weekend 🌚. Draw out a plan to enjoy your weekend.

Today, let us talk about “SELF HARM”
Self-harm is the act of hurting oneself intentionally. One of the terrible part of self harm is that Self-harm may go unnoticed by other people, and so many people who self-harm do so in private and may not seek help.
Imagine if someone you hold dearly to heart is struggling with Self-harm secretly, the thought of it alone makes me shiver.
Self-harm may include behaviours such as: - Cutting, burning or hitting yourself - Participating in risky behaviour - Abuse of drugs or alcohol
However, there are signs that you can look out for that will be a pointer to know whether a person is self-harming or not.
In addition, it is important to also know why an individual is self-harming in the first place.
All these and many more is explained on our website. Kindly click the button below to learn more about self-harm.
People who self-harm do not aim at committing suicide, to them, it is a way of expressing some kind of emotion. The only thing is that it does more harm than they intend. Let us save a soul today by spreading this gospel, someone will appreciate you.
Prepare for the new month this weekend, because we are not settling for less! The new month will be far greater and better than this month.
See you in September!
With love,
Wura from The Health City.
