Men’s Mental Health Matters!
Finally, the last Friday of the month, are you excited ?💃🏽
Personally, I have been looking forward to the end of the month ever since it started. You know I talked about being stressed this month, well luckily for me, my stressors are backing down so I feel a little relieved. What about you, are you glad the month is ending or did you enjoy June so much you wish it could last a little longer? Also, let me quickly add that you should start preparing for July before it gets here, you don’t have to wait for July 1 to start prepping for the month.

My dear friend do you know that the month of June is Men’s mental health awareness month? I know the month is about to end but it is better late than never. Let us talk about men’s mental health. Before we dive into it, let me tell you what Mental Health means.
Mental health is a state of well-being that helps individuals manage stress, work productively and maintain relationships.
We grew up in a society that puts men on an emotional and mental pedestal making it seem as if they are not allowed to feel and express themselves. But luckily for the men, things are changing.
As a result of the change, it is your responsibility as individuals to support every man around you , encouraging them to be intentional about their mental health and be listening ears to them when they need one.
How then do we support Men’s mental health in the appropriate way?

Tell that man in your life that he should stop acting like Van Damme. Even Van Damme should express himself. Do not forget to share this life saving information with every man you encounter.
