HEALTH TIPS FOR THE RAINING SEASON

"They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: Someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for."-Tom Bodett

If we think about it, Uncle Tom is right. If you have the three listed above, congratulations. If not, go out this weekend, let someone’s son or daughter love you (Netflix will not give you the love you deserve), get something to do and find something to hope for. By then, happiness will not be far fetched.

Happy Friday!

How was your week? Do you have a lawfully wedded partner🌚or you are enduring the cold alone? You thought I was going to say boyfriend or girlfriend Abi? We don’t fornicate around here, go and read your Bible.

The raining season in Nigeria has fully begun and I am here today to give you few tips on how to stay healthy during this season.

1. Get an umbrella and a raincoat

2. Increase your vitamin C intake

3. Destroy breeding grounds for mosquitoes

4. Keep yourself dry, fresh and clean to avoid cold, cough, flu and fever

5. Drink clean water

6. Avoid junk / street food.

7. Wash your fruits and vegetables carefully

8. Get your beauty sleep

9. Maintain personal hygiene and make sure to keep your surroundings clean.

10. If you fall sick, don’t self medicate, visit your doctor not everything is malaria or typhoid (bombastic side eye)

Also, unfollow everybody in a relationship on all your social media platforms, make imagination no kill you 😂

On a serious note, please do well to put those tips to use. It is better to enjoy the soothing feeling that comes with this season than to treat sickness all through it.

Enjoy your weekend and don’t forget to stay happy!

With love,

Wura from The Health City.
