Do you know fasting is very beneficial for your health?

If I didn’t confirm with my calendar, I wouldn’t have believed that today is the last Friday of the month. This month for me has been the most stressful, but it moved like the speed of light and I am thankful for that.

My dear friend, welcome to the last Friday in the month of April. I started by telling you how the month was for me, tell me about yours. I will like to hear how adventurous or unadventurous the month was for you.

Outside how your month went, how are you doing? How’s life lately? I really hope it has been good. Either ways, you always hold on to hope and good thoughts, if you can do that for me, I’d be glad 😉

My dear friend, when you hear about fasting, what comes to your mind?

Religious fasting right? Now let me shock you, do you know that fasting first became popular as a cure for so many illnesses way before it became the cornerstone of being a religious practice?

It is on record that doctors prescribed a fast from any food that causes a patient illness and testimonies of this system working were recorded.

Nowadays, you don’t need a doctor to even prescribe a fast. However, there are various degrees or types of fasting and not all is beneficial to one’s health.

You as a person can as well choose the kind of fast you want to practice. Some of the options of fast available are;

  1. intermittent Fasting

  2. Prolonged Fasting

  3. Extended Fasting

Among the 3 listed above, intermittent fasting is the most beneficial to your health. That’s a fact and I can prove it. Below is a link that describes the types of fast and how intermittent fasting is of great use to your goal of staying healthy.
